JASON SALISBURY · 20+ YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD/LOS ANGELES · REMOTE / NEW ENGLAND

Creative projects move fast. I keep them moving.

I'm a project and operations leader with 20+ years of experience in Los Angeles television, production, client service, and business ownership. I manage complex work from initial scope through staffing, production, delivery, and closeout — while keeping clients, teams, schedules, and priorities aligned.

My work has supported nationally distributed television, sports, entertainment, promotional campaigns, podcasts, and branded content — an estimated 4,000+ television episodes and 12,000+ promotional spots — often under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders and little room for error.

Project Management

Planning, scheduling, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and delivery.

Creative Operations

Building workflows that help creative and technical teams move quickly without losing visibility or quality.

Client Leadership

Managing expectations, scope, communication, approvals, changing requirements, and long-term relationships.

Process Improvement

Finding bottlenecks and building practical systems that reduce friction and make recurring work easier.

From production specialist to business owner.

My career began in television post-production, but the work gradually became much broader than the title.

I led recurring production workflows, managed schedules and budgets, coordinated with producers and creative teams, and solved problems under fixed broadcast deadlines.

In 2018, I founded Very Good Post. That put me on the other side of the entire process: finding clients, scoping work, estimating projects, staffing them, coordinating contractors, overseeing production, delivering the work, and managing the business behind it.

Today, that combination of hands-on production knowledge and operational responsibility is what I bring to project management and creative operations.

Better tools should make the work easier.

I use ChatGPT and Claude/Claude Code daily for problem-solving, writing, workflow design, technical exploration, and automation. I've also built several apps and SaaS products to solve real problems I've run into, including MakerKit3D and Kinsake, plus a project management tool I built for a problem I ran into personally. I'm particularly interested in practical applications of AI that improve communication, reduce repetitive work, and help teams move faster.
